This is a great tool.

I have made some minor tweaks as well. First of all, I made it work on google image links when doing a standard google search (non-image search).

Also, I made it so that the popup is positioned in the top left or right corner depending on where the mouse cursor is. I felt that sometimes the popup would get in the way.

This plugin relinks all Google image search result and provides the original image in a popup on rollover. Because the popup is positioned partially over the image, it's simple to move your mouse over it and right-click save.
Simple!

For you image searchers, this script is the bee's knees.

It allows you to quickly preview (and right-click/drag to save) images in gImage search results. The floating image is placed pretty smartly (as detailed in the description.

My only complaint is that sometimes the image isn't able to be loaded and the tiny thumbnail appears; if you click through, the full image is available (unless the link is dead of course), but this might be due to some redirecting things that the author can't really do much about (I think).

Anyway, even if you only do the occasional image search, this script makes things so much smoother. Scripts like this one is why greasemonkey (and us.org!) rocks!
