Recently updated the userscript and inserted an advertising module that gets added to the web page. Thanks a lot jerk. Next time tell people that you are spamming for advertisers.

This app WAS the best script I couldn't live without.
But now th author has decided to display a ad every 25 page load. EVEN ON YOUR LOCAHOST.

Sometimes, life makes man do stupid things. That's one of those moments.

This script used to be good and then the author got greedy and added a banner ad. If it was just a text ad and the author had been upfront about it instead of sneaking it in in a silent update, I could maybe deal. But this thing inserts an intrusive banner ad on pages. I'm uninstalling. There are other link checkers.

I get this annoying pop up constantly now when 'RLC' is enabled. What's up with this?

I have used this script for years, I run my own forum & I used to recommend this to all my members.

NOT any more, it now has spam advertisements at the bottom of quite a lot of posts I open & view etc.

Save yourself the hassle & (Google) (The Cavern link checker) OK its not as pretty as this one but it works well & NO adverts.

I'm more annoyed as it updated itself & only after it updated itself did I begin notice the ADVERTISEMENTS appearing on various posts etc at the bottom of my own forum, which incidentally is bleeding annoying as my site has zero advertisements as I hate them.

EDIT:
The Cavern Link Checker is actually as good as this used to be, you can go into the options & untick the (Highlight) option & it performs flawlessly.

And it works on Firefox 8.0 :)
