Still broken!

This is the single most useful (essential) add-on to Gmail. It's ridiculous that this functionality isn't just built in, but I'm grateful that Arend is clever enough to bend the might Google to his will and give us folders!

I use GMail as a central point to retrieve email from other POP3 accounts. Every day I have to deal with work-related messages, subscriptions, friends, etc., which forces me to rely on labels to keep everything more or less organized.
However, when you have too many labels, all this becomes a mess in almost no time.

This script helps me a lot to maintain order, it's great!

But it could be even more if it also allowed to group the labels within the "more" drop-down.

This script is absolutely perfect, turning GMail labels into hierarchical groups of labels. LOVE the summing of unread counts in every sub-label. Very quick to update, too.

Also incredible: the use of the "/" as the hierarchy delimiter reads like folder nesting to IMAP & other clients (including my phone). In other words, the hierarchy it creates in GMail labels is adhered to & respected even outside the web interface.

I have switched to using the UserScript variant instead of the one bundled with the BetterGmail extension as apparently it is updated more responsively.

Sure, gmail would be better if it had a proper implementation of IMAP, but this UserScript helps a great deal on the web side!

Gmail updated labels so you can see only the most recently used labels out of all your total labels. This has broken Folders4Gmail as far as I know.
