For some time now, I've been getting my music via Google index.of searches, which invariably requires opening numerous tabs for each file I'd like to download so that I can play the song and make sure it is what I want.

This inline player brings an end to those excessive tabs. Now I can load the single page and have every single song ready to play with a single click.

Wonderful addon, highly recommended.

Inline MP3 Player (Google Version) is a great userscript, because it enables you to play an .mp3 file directly from where it is, without downloading it.
You actually stream the file, so that way you can preview what the mp3 sounds like before downloading.
Pretty handy, and a must tool for music and podcast lovers.
