This is fantastic!! I was going to have to stop using Google Reader because it was magnifying my sight issues way too much.
Two things I'd like to see/be able to do: (1) see the folder icons in the navigation panel on the left; and (2) make the text BIGGER (I had been magnifying up to 140% so I could read before Google "Grand Mistake" ... now any higher than 110% forces the whole screen over to the right.
Thanks.

This is getting better and better every day. Thank you.
One thing I noticed after upgrading this morning: ['Customize...' from the Google Reader Subscriptions drop-down menu] seems to be no longer available.
Really appreciate the ability to enlarge the reading font. Thanks.

I totally agree with djr1904.
"I use Google Reader in list view and with this script when I click on an item, the headline within the item itself disappears"
If you could fix / modify this, the script would be perfect.
Thanks.
I use Google Reader in list view and with this script when I click on an item, the headline within the item itself disappears and the only way to open the item is to use the "open" icon in the upper right side of the item. When this script isn't active the headline shows up in the item and I can click that to open it.
Love it otherwise.
Edited: also, if that headline could be blue like the old headlines and most links, that would also be fantastic.
thanks for you to write this.
It's great but if you add a feature to colorize the items by giving any feed a color it will be more nice.
the all-white page annoys reading.

This script works great with opera (aagmfunctions.js is required). If you use FireFox, make sure you have greasemonkey installed.
update: The author has fixed the script promptly. Another good sign of a great script.
This repairs virtually every shortcoming of the new Google Reader layout, and most of the pre-existing ones. Author seems committed to keeping the script up to date. Highly recommended!
The perfect scripot to use gReader in Netbooks. I use it in Google Chrome.

This is one of the many scripts here that I can't live without!
The default Google Reader just wastes so much space its not even funny.
Put the Google Reader Absolutely Customizable script on top of it and BAM! Google Reader becomes usable!
thank you for making this script
Congratulations for the script is great.
I have only one proposal, there some way that when we do a search we can choose between three different ways of viewing.
Thanks.
