Would be really nice, but doesn't work for me unfortunately. The lightbulb icon appears, but clicking on it doesn't do anything. I tried disabling all other YouTube scripts but still doesn't work. Lights off function does work on videos that already have the feature, regardless of the script or Greasemonkey being turned on or off. So I guess the problem is not with my stuff. Shame.

This script's lights our feature removes all that crap called comments. A+ action :D

It also removes all other things adding to the clutter in a youtube video page. One click on-off makes access to "related videos" etc easy.

Or you can only enlarge the video (not maximize it) so that the clutter moves to the bottom of the page, where it stays out of direct eye focus.

Wish youtube had these on every video, but this script takes care of that :)

I'm loving the script. I was using Yousabletube Fix for a while but I hated how it made the video re-buffer whenever it was expanded, this script can expand the video without re buffering which is great. The lights out feature is also neat and I don't see why Youtube didn't just include this in the first place. Great work. In the future I would like to see an option to keep the video enlarged by default and the ability to turn the lights down ever further.

Expanding and the 'lights off' feature are fast and don't disrupt the video. I've been wanting this, thanks!
