Good enough, can be improved. , Jan 15, 2010

Thanks for this script. Could be improved though, on codesnippets for example.

To make the script work for all wikipedia-versions, simply rightclick on the Greasemonkey-icon -> Manage User Scripts... -> Dark skin for wikipedia -> http://en.wikipedia.org/* -> Edit... -> Replace "http://en.wikipedia.org/*" with "http://*.wikipedia.org/*" (* being a universal wildcard).

This could very easily be added to the original script, and would be a great help for those using it in combination with multiple versions of the Wikipedia, but don't have the knowledge to do this. (and it saves the hassle)

Good, but could have better font colors (v. 2.1) , Oct 16, 2009

I'm glad to have found a script that darkens Wikipedia to deal with things like script fatigue.

While this is a good start, the white body text makes for an overpowering contrast while the darkness of the blue link-text blends in a little too well. I would suggest trying a version with a brighter blue color for links and a light grey font for body text, kind of like gabedibble's google Enhanced BLACK script.
