This script brings back the old news feed sliders that let you customize the type of content that appeared. However, it's not clear to me that the preferences are actually working.
What does work really well is hiding the annoying twitter-like status updates. So this script makes the awful redesign a little more tolerable. Kudos to the author, hoping for more improvements.
