The script makes the site a complete "Download Only" site.
If you want to see the description or view comments or add comments etc., every links leads to downloading of the torrent and the page doesn't load at all.
The author should customize the script to add/remove scripts.
I know what the description says etc and I accept that, if you want a really simple, one-click to download torrents directly experience then this script brings it to you.
It makes the whole site just very minimal in terms of areas you can get to and view.
I wanted to review it to pose a question to teh author.
Can you possibly make it so that, within the text of the script, certain areas can be commented out easily, making it optional whether I'd want to lose the ability to view torrent details instead of directly downloading them and such...?
I love what your script makes the site look like but, as thee are so many 'dodgy' torrents indexed by isohunt it is really not practical to have a direct download link when you are only going on the title of the torrent and nothing more.
I tried commenting out parts of the script but it's too complex for me so I don't know which part is which!
Thanks anyway...I just wish there was a script that tidied up the mess of the site, without going completely over the top which is what I find your script to be.
Cheers...
One issue I have is that I have a wide screen, and the amount of space this takes up is quite small. So small that parts of it look mooshed together (seeders vs leechers for example).
Suggestion would be to either put in an option (toggle perhaps), or just go wide. This site isn't really meant to be pretty IMO, it's more of a functional site.
It does exactly what the description says, so I can't complain too much! This is a welcome relief from the dogs breakfast that is the current site. Thank you!
It does precisely and only what it says it does. A welcome relief.
