This scrolling stock ticker is awesome! All in all this is a great script and it has proven to be very useful. I no longer need to navigate to a separate page to view stock summary information, I can get it on the same page where I get e-mail and news!

Some of the great features inclue:
-It loads at the bottom of the page so its out of the way, but the information is readily accessible for those who have a constant need to monitor stock quote information. Currently it appears on every page, but this is customizable and can be altered to go only on those pages that you want it to appear on.

-The ticker is also customizable. You can load as many or as few stocks symbols as you like and it still scrolls.

-The ticker pauses upon mouse over so you have time to read the data more closely if need be

-The speed of the scroll bar is customizable as well. By increasing the speed value you can make the ticker scroll faster (or decrease to slow).

-Descriptors for the symbols are customizable. Example: The Dow Jones stock quote is '^DJI' and would display as such in the ticker. However, by adding a descriptor 'DOW?^DJI' the ticker will now display "DOW"!

-The stock ticker update automatically, without reloading the current page. The default time is 15 minutes, but this can be shortened.

-If you need more information about a particular stock, just mouse over the stock quote and a link appears. When clicking you get directed to the quote's Yahoo! Finance page.
NOTE: The link loads in the current page. Since this script is from Yahoo! Finance originally, the flash cannot be altered to make it link in a new tab. I've put in a feature request at Yahoo! Finance to include this feature. If that is a feature that is important to you, I ask that you request the feature as well!
