It can also be optimized if merged with some more programming and the the code merge all the images and output a pdf file instead. :)
But too much from GM script I think. Will see if It can be done with PHP. :)

Hi Redphx,

I would like to thank you for this script, because in my country books are very very expensive.
Congratulations for your script, but Google Book changed and this script don’t work as before (don’t find the pages).
I think that we need to wait for new version.

Does the job but needs more documentation , Sep 18, 2009

This script provides you with links to all the pages of the book. In that sense it works well. What's confusing is what to do next. Many users seem to think that the books gets saved automatically, but they do not; another download manager has to be used (Flashgot or Downloadthemall) to copy all of the images from all of the links. However, this process is not easy to orchestrate and the resulting files aren't often arranged sequentially. Some documentation would be helpful though it can be found elsewhere on the web.

Useful tool. If this wasn't there, I'd have to take a screenshot every page and save it. So, I'm really thankful for this.

I've always found this script good, but I note there appears to be a version 2.3 modified by a different author here:

At a cursory glance it seems pretty similar, just with a few new tweaks

Great idea but... , Jun 17, 2011

This programs may have worked well once but it certainly hasn't performed well for awhile. It may be abandoned (no one seems to know) and it can be a bit difficult to understand for beginners. At this point it isn't worth using unless there's some update of features.

...especially about downloading all the pictures. It could make a list of URLs for Orbit Downloader, for example.

Download links missing , Feb 12, 2010
Review written by flash jet - see all my reviews (1)

Version 2.1 appears to have trouble locating download links when a google preview loads at a page other than the first page.

For example the following link loads page #168, but the "Download this book" button does not appear:

http://books.google.com/books?id=3Gj0rLx9gy0C&p...

Same is true for the "Download this page" button (i.e., PA169) on the next page (i.e., page #169)
