Great script that does exactly what it says, including on the 'new look' gmail.
Running the 'new look' gmail on the 'android' theme (Firefox 7), the ads are removed on the right and the message is extended to all the way to the right of the screen as it should :D
However, icons along the top get moved out of place and end up 'hovering' over the 'reply' button. These icons include the 'invite', 'email' and 'call' options.
Not sure if this is because of interference with other lab features I've enabled (multiple inboxes perhaps) or maybe just the theme and the 'new look' gmail.
Apart from that, an excellent script, and you have my thanks (Y).
When using with the Communication Preview feature the script deletes the Ad text, but the space of the Ad column in still the same which is waste of screen space. Any chances to fix that? TNX
Ive been looking for something like this. Thanks!!
This app works perfectly on the Mac version of Firefox. I tried a couple of others that didn't work. Well, this one DOES! Beautifully! Thanks for a great script.
Wow - there are a lot of scripts out there to get rid of gmail ads, but this one is the best - love that it keeps the ptint all/expamd all, etc. buttons neatly at top of page for continued use. Keep up the good work!
I love the extra room!
When installed in GoogleChrome(v3.0.193.1) it only removed the adds in the "standard" version of Gmail. Did nothing as far as the "basic" version.
Unfortunately it does not work at all in GoogleChrome(v2.0.172.37). Tried using chrome's built in script engine with no success. Did not try as bookmark.
Basic view of Gmail was able to load but the Standard was unable to while this script was installed.
Usually Google Ads don't annoy me. However, I find that using GMail with a 1024x768 browser window is quite annoying due to those ads that cover part of the screen. I tried different extensions/scripts to patch the problem but only GMail Without Ads! works flawlessly.
Recommended for GMail users with small screen.
The only script actually working for that job!
Thanks
