Okay, it works on regular links like a champ, Bravo, Bravo, Bravo...tho on hovering popups of more links, it falls short...I was holding down the left button waiting for it to open, and when I released, I lost the page and clicking back, it was gone.

Otherwise, this is a fantastic script, and works like a dream. Needs to be able to work in soft links as well, which is why the lack of a star, otherwise I would have given it 4.9 stars.

5 star! i can believe you even needed to reason scripts existents its an absolutely intuitive hardcore browsing and tab control.... ty ty ... i've been playing with tab-mix plus to have all links open in new tabs but couldnt find a script that would give me a simple option like urs (click-hold) of opening links in current tab .. thanks to your script i can atleast do it in reverse ... and with time, hopefully i can learn a bit of javascript to modify your code to have click hold open link in current tab .. cheers :) im sooo happY!

Does exactly what I want. Hold down left click for half a second on a link to open in a new tab. Great for laptop users. Probably pretty handy for desktop users too.
