Amazing , Sep 27, 2009

Having used a lot of Google-enhancer scripts I found Google Fx to be amongst the best.

The only few bugs are in the other various searches Google offers (IE: shopping, scholar, etc). While the interface claims Fx can be used there, it won't work very well. Small point though, as its easy to disable it for those few search (and I believe is disabled by default).

Now the real test will be to see if the author will keep up to date with the various layout changes Google will do in the future.

NoScript + AutoPager + GoogleFX = not so good , Jul 8, 2009
Review written by mike-ger - see all my reviews (1)

I'm using GoogleFx v2.1.8 in combination with FireFox 3.5 , NoScript v1.9.5 (= blocking several Google things) and AutoPager v0.5.2.2

Unfortunately this combination is not working well... have to de-activate at least NoScript to have full GoogleFx usage... if not, Google shows only 1 page with N results and that's it.

If I would be able to keep ALL my add-ons enabled w/out any problem I would really love GoogleFX... but as long as I have to de-activate at least NoScript... well... bye-bye, GoogleFX.

Maybe someone got a solution for my problem?

This is, what Google should look like by default! , Jul 5, 2009

Wow!

I’m very impressed what one can do to a site, that does not supports it by default just by using with Javascript in a very professional way!

This script makes Google look like, it should look like by default!

This is a instant fav to me!

THANKS!

Interesting ideas , Apr 18, 2009
Review written by gantt - see all my reviews (1)

This script uses some interesting ideas (image zoom, language change for Google Suggest), but it breaks too many things to be used for other services than Google Search and Image Search (for example, Google Notebook is unusable, while Google Docs includes a bar that diminishes the already-limited space for editing documents).

I suggest to limit the included pages to:
http://www.google.tld
http://www.google.tld/webhp?*
http://images.google.tld
http://images.google.tld/imghp?*
http://www.google.tld/search?*
http://images.google.tld/images?*

The script tries to do way too many things, it's bloated, difficult to maintain and easy to break by any minor change in Google's pages.

After I clicked on magnifying glass(search) on the top frame, everything has gone like preview images, counts, right panel, other searches. Tried re-installing but nothing works.

Lifesaver , Apr 2, 2009
Review written by Marc Savoy - see all my reviews (12)

Google Fx v2.1.3 is is a godsend, lifesaver for me having been accustomed to all the wonderful features as provided by the Firefox add-on "Customize Google."

The fantastic Firefox add-on Customize Google has become victim of its own brilliant success having attracted the attention of Google in rendering its once
considerable capabilities useless.

No doubt Google will strike again any time soon against Google Fx v2.1.2.3 as well. Until then I will enjoy every moment of this fantastic script.

Thanks very much.
