greatful
Thanks Tertioptus.
This script is really useful. It lets you organize your labels into a tree, search each label through its own search box, and compound search results for any subtree in the labels hierarchy.
This script adds awesome functionality to GMail labels. It's essential to users that really use labels.
@Laurence, this isn't the right place to make suggestions, since we cannot discuss it. Look for the "Discussions" link, you can open a new topic or add your suggestion to "The Collaboration Station" topic.
This is a great improvement on the standard Gmail interface. However, to make it truly powerful, there must be a way to add labels to emails based on the label tree. Ideally, we should be able to select an email, and then apply a label based on the tree resulting in all labels in the hierarchy being applied to the email. e.g. songs->pop->billy joel So, then we can find the email through a search of either songs, or pop, or billy joel separately, or songs:pop:billy joel If we select the same email in a different hierarchy, e.g. music->piano->billy joel, then these labels will also get added. Note that there is only one "Billy Joel" label that just happens to exist in the two hierarchies. If I get time, I'll try to see how this can be programmed.
