Great if you got Greasemonkey working , Nov 11, 2009
Review written by k3co - see all my reviews (1)

Well seems for some reason my script was the only working one.
And also I encountered on some site I cannot remember it that jQuery is somehow used but the Anti-Disabler caused exceptions.
I fixed my script to cover jQuery and catch the exceptions.
I also fixed my Greasemonkey with new version.
The script is great and works superb.
Just I will use mine becouse some site uses the event :
onselectstart
and I have it covered.
My script will not be updated. I believe that JoeSimmons will improve his script after that review.

It works! lol simple little script, but its so useful for those pesky sites that wanna disable us from right clicking, especially when you wanna save a pic.
Thanks for this.

Disabling text selection is one of the worst things a site can do to impact basic functionality and act more hostile. This script prevents that in just about all cases and makes the web so much nicer for it.

It even prevents some newer and more sophisticated jQuery techniques from hiding the right-click menu :D

LIBERTY! , Aug 9, 2009
Review written by gabedibble - see all my reviews (8)

This is what the web needs. Freedom!

What I mean is that the internet is about freedom of speech and sharing information with everyone everywhere. Disabling basic text (and other) functionality in the browser in unintuitive to common practice and overall hurts usability and usefulness.

This script reverses some of that. THANK YOU!

I may seem to blow this issue out of proportion, but when faced with the principle of freedom online, we must be vigilant in securing every liberty. ;) ;)

Thus, overall and post-rant:This script does a great job of exactly what it states. It's well written and my hat goes off to the author!

But not others. For example, right-clicking is still disabled on this site: http://www.velonews.com/photo/96154
