One of the best User.JS script for the Freedom Fighters Users.
You're doing a very good contribution to the world!
if you were a girl i would kiss your face of for this script ! what a great mind ! i was thinking about the same thing you already scripted beautifully. seriously you have blown away my troubles with flash player 10, you know the 87 version on Eee Pc is rather crap. blocky video, plus its so freaking slow.
i found this by chance just looking around, i remember about greecmonkey scripts, so i thought i would look into Google for a script like this ! and there you are ! i found one. this is simply the best thing ever, i truly thank you so much dude ! you just don't understand how it feels to remove this flash player from my system.
thanks again, you should check out http://www.revolunet.com/labo/code/VLCcontrols
there is swfobject support for Vlc, with user control, I'm little bite experienced with these controls. as i have them on my tiny video sharing site. and have worked with them.
now i will go into ubuntuforums and tell everybody about this in the flash player problem threads they will love this ! great work.

I was finding YouTube very hard to use on my 64bit setup because very often the video would not display, requiring me to reload the page, I would always have loads of dropped frames, making the picture very jittery, and sometimes it would go completely wrong and start hogging the CPU altogether. In other words the Adobe plugin is buggy to the point of being almost unusable. This script takes all that away.
As a bonus, I can now view movies in proper fullscreen, without seeing the controls at the bottom of the screen.
The only drawbacks I have found are that I can no longer jump backwards or forwards to another part of the movie, and also (as far as I can tell so far at least) that annotations, subtitles etc are no longer available.
