Works great for Vonage voicemails sent to my gmail account (as wav). Doesn't always work immediately, but a simple refresh of the page usually does the trick.
This is a great example of a Greasemonkey script that gets around 2 missing features in both Vonage and Gmail. Vonage only sends voicemails as a wav file, and gmail's embedded player can only play attached mp3's, not wavs.
I love this as my voicemail comes in as wavs. However I do find I need to frequently reload the entire gmail page, and/or go to disable and re-enable the greasemonkey script, and then reload the page to get it to work.
Also, my work email just changed to Outlook Web Access - OWA - and I'm looking for a way to make this work for that too. I tried adding that address into the script, but it doesn't seem to work. Any idears?
thx!

Because of Google's virus scanner and/or changes to the interface since this script was written, it now works ONE time out of TEN. Nice idea tho, when it does work! Fix it! Fix it! Haha :o)
P.S. I have it only TWO (2) stars (**) because as of right now, it is hardly ever working, but when it does work, it deserves FIVE STARS (*****)
No more voicemessage-45.wav in my downloads folder! Sometimes takes a few seconds for the audio controls to pop up, and a few times I needed to refresh, but even then, it's a huge time/clutter savings from the alternative (download & play in iTunes)
