My absolute favourite Youtube script!!! , Nov 20, 2009
Review written by fridolin pickel - see all my reviews (1)

This is the absolutely best Youtube userscript ever! Everything is customizable, nothing forced onto the users. And it is not overloaded with fancy stuff – only the things average users actually really need.

Also this is the only script that has perfect prevention of Autoplay. Other scripts I found have problems stopping the video immediately before it plays. Then you still can hear sound for one second. This is of course annoying and so I'm very glad I found your script. It does the job perfectly.

Great script; laid out clean and fairly easy to modify if need be.

One little bug fix needed , Nov 9, 2009
Review written by chris2006 - see all my reviews (31)

This script is awesome!

I'm glad you allow anything to be customised. I have a small laptop and don't want HD by default. "Fastest quality available" is just perfect for me as default. I also love the auto-play prevention. Finally I can have this feature without the need of FlashBlock blocking the Youtube player by default.

However, I found one little bug: When you switch video size from "1x" to "1.25x" for example, and then switch back to "1x", the information box on the right slips under the video and the video is shifted to the center and top of the screen. That means I cannot get back Youtube's default view until I reload the page.

But apart from that, it's great. Thank you!

Hate to beat a dead horse, but like (almost) everyone else says, this is great. Probably the best youtube script for majority of folks, depending on what you want. Works well and regularly updated.

Pretty Much The Best YouTube Script , May 28, 2009
Review written by steveg - see all my reviews (1)

This is a well-maintained script that gives you a TON of control over YouTube. It does as much as 5 other scripts combined and then it does even more. It lets you change everything from the size/quality of videos to their autoplay/autodownload behavior. It adds (sharable) direct-download links, one for each video quality level. The size of a video can be changed without even having to stop it. It can even automatically press the "more" button in video descriptions for you. This is HIGHLY recommended for any YouTube user.

To configure it:

1) Go to YouTube and then right-click the Greasemonkey status bar icon
2) Go to User Script Commands... > YousableTubeFix Configuration

A window will come up with a all sorts of settings - more than I mentioned above.

BTW, most of the concerns addressed in previous reviews have already been fixed. As for speed, it's as fast as Greasemonkey (and your connection) allows it to be.
