With Firefox12 and the script version 2012-03-27 the "autoplay HD" function doesn't work.
It only plays on the default resolution.

Customizable, works on all the youtube videos I've come across. Everything is now HD on link-click. Simply fantastic. Would recommend to anyone.

I used to watched videos 360p or lower, then youtube has something to do with re-buffer everytime you switch full screen. i felt so annoyed of this and after getting this script, do some tweaking and permanently make the video load 480p. so i would have problems watching the video full screen and no re-buffer thingy going on again. why 480p? just right for my connection and my screen resolution... too high may cause my laptop lags... (yeah i do have a obsolete laptop but works fine for many years)

i supposed this script is for advance user, newbies must learn how to tweak.

This script accomplishes two very basic yet important things and does so in a clean way that does not break the youtube layout.

1) force HD resolution for all supported videos! you can chose 720p or 1080p.

2) force the video "size" (independent of the resolution) to be normal, medium or large.

The script has no UI for editing the options, so you have to edit them manually to set your tastes. This is very easy to do if you have scriptish.

There are also settings for autohiding the video controls and autoplay.

Highly recommended.
