I click a url and it takes me to the site - why bother wasting time sending google data inbetween.

I installed Straight Google along with GreaseMonkey (I hadn't heard of GM before), both took about two minutes. Immediately a big thorn in my side, the Google redirect crap, was gone!

I LOVE THIS SCRIPT!

Thank you so much Pokerface, you've made a very real improvement in my day-to-day life. Please keep up the excellent work.

Actual Google links with no tracking code , Dec 27, 2011
Review written by LarryWolfe - see all my reviews (9)

I often right-click on Google to copy the links and paste them in a second browser or to avoid sending any tracking information.

This became a great hassle when Google started encoding the links with information.

This userscript solves the problem without interfering with my surfing. Now I can click the links again and copy the true link with no tracking data.
