Is it possible to make a script working in Opera?
removes all the garbage that I don't use, thx
You sir, are a hero. This script restores my gmail almost completely back to the way I like having it, compact, neatly spaced, no annoying bars floating around taking up precious screen property.
The only script I'm missing now would be one to give me my original color scheme of black/red.
This script works perfectly for me. Frees up tons of screen real estate and doesn't screw anything up.
I'd suggest one additional feature: a "help" and/or config screen. Find a key (maybe the "?") and map it to a screen showing the keyboard shortcuts.
The script works great. It's nice to have more screen space devoted to email, and it's more aesthetically pleasing. I appreciate that it's possible to change the settings to show the "undo send" notification (see discussion forum). Also, the author of the script is very responsive.
I just discovered this userscripts few days ago and I love it so much... I'm using is with some other other scripts to unclutter my gmail and same some screen realeastate
I hope in the next version we will see an autohide function to make the pannel hide and unhide after a delay (the gmail use something similar for the label maybe you just can exploit the script function who are already there as they offer smooth sliding)
there is also something that I would love to make is to make the hide-unhide just one button who toggle between the different states this will be less confunsing and one button (instead of using shift...)
Thank you so much for creating this great userscript.
Wish to report that this works well on chrome notebooks too!
Generally like, how light and fast this is!!
One critical item missing: I do not see the search within gmail, so that I can select a subset of emails matching the select. Before installing this, there was such a bar, now that is gone. I assume it should be easy to bring it back and place the bar to the right of the more drop down icon.
Also how easy is it to adopt to other mail gmail like windows, such as google groups used by chrome notebook:
No other way to say it.
I installed this and uninstalled three others that roughly did the same things in bits and pieces.
