I really like the idea and visual appeal of this script, but it operates in slow motion - first the standard Google page with black navbar appears, then a second later, the one generated by the script appears. This reloading of the page is really irritating.

I like this script, it gives you a Google home page with no black navigation bar running across the top of your screen, and your Google search results are listed on the left side of screen with blue hyperlinks, that's it, a Classic Google HomePage, without all the newly added bullsh*t
