Google Calendar Collapsible Bars adds two buttons that fit right in with Google Calendar's new default theme so well, that using Google Calendar without this script installed leads you to believe something is missing from the core page!

These buttons allow you to hide the right sidebar, containing the list of calendars and etcetera, and the search bar above the calendar. With these two page elements hidden, the user is suddenly treated to a simplified Google Calendar screen with much more free space.

My favorite part about this script is the ease of revealing hidden elements. If you need to access a hidden portion of the page, you simply click the button again to toggle the portion into view. It's amazing how such a simple script improves usability this much!

Easy to install and very simple but necessary functionality.

Thankyou thankyou - this is absolutely perfect, no glitches, just simple space saving so you can really see your calendar on smaller screens/windows. I get so pissed with the search area compressing my calendar, and going full screen is not always ideal when toggling quickly. Speedy work!
