It isn’t killing it as much as you think. I don’t remember the last time I actually cared about the installs when they were working. You should make scripts to help you and the community. Install counts don’t matter if it is a good script; 1 good detailed review is worth a thousand installs, in my opinion.

Hello ! I'd like to request an userscript for Formspring.

This question-asking website was planned to be shut down a while ago ( http://formspring.wordpress.com/2013/03/15/form... )and is now on life support for an unknown amount of time. With the very real possibility of all content on the site being deleted sooner or later, backing up the Q&As we like has been encouraged. I've been meaning to do so and keep my fav ones on my computer. But Formspring isn't very practical and getting all the Q&As to show up clicking the "More responses from..." button to load a few more of them again and again is very time-consuming.

So it would be very relieving to get a hand on a script that'd load all the Q&As on a page ; that, or one that keeps loading more responses until all are uncovered.
I won't say it's urgent since the site probably won't be down the next day but anyway. I'd be very grateful to anyone who can whip out such a script.

The more I look into this the more I am beginning to think Facebook might have screwed up my account and it might not be hacked. I admit I cannot delete the account nore can I create another page because these buttons are disabled but this is all that is wrong. The accountitself as no value to a hacker. There is no personal data, no financial info ... nothing for a hacker to exploit. It makes no sense. Have Facebook made changes that could result in corruption of my page?

I have learned a little more. I think the hacker has assigned himself/herself an admin role. To do this they needed either to Like the page or be a friend (because I cannot assign my "other" facebook account as another admin unles they like or are a friend). I think they did it by liking the page. When I use facebook as the Page Name (Steves Driving Tuition) I am unable to see who has "liked" the page so I cannot "unlike" them. Further, I am not able to send a friend request to my working account so I cannot assign it an admin role and come at this from another account. I feel however the hacker doesn't have "full" admin rights but just clearly enough to change the way the page functions and disable any means for me to delete them from the admin list. This is very frustrating.

I could really use a greasemonkey script to allow me to undo whatever they have done and enable the save buttons, or let me see the "like" list so I can "unlike" them and remove them ...

No, the problem FB does not work on another computer.
There are no apparent/visible unexpected apps installed. I did not install any and none show up when I check it.
I did have my own app installed when I created the Page (facebook.com/steves-driving-tuition) to advertise my business. I created a page tab app which loaded onto the canvas my own html (from http://www.stevesdriving.co.uk/fb_pages/welcome ). However the page I created has been replaced and there is another app-id that I don't recognise. The page doesn't show any tabs other than Likes and Photos. I suspect the hacker has hijacked my page and replaced it with his/her own and that is how my account is being infiltrated. There is no About information nor can I add any. The hacker has added an email address to the page to allow posts to that email address to post on the timeline. I was able to add the address to a "blocked" list but then he/she added another. I don't seem to be able to add the second address to the blocked list. Not sure why.

New profile and Facebook does not work normally. Same problems. I have also created a new Facebook account and it behaves correctly with either profile so I don't think it's a rogue extension. The Facebook account is truly hacked and all I want to do is delete it (or deactivate at the very least) - but cannot.

It is surprising how someone can hijack my Facebook Page and use it to take control of my account also and disable the very features that would allow me to retake control. All the articles I find on the internet describe how to use the facebook form that allows me to secure the account but all this does is allow me to create another password for it and a security question. It doesn't let me regain control of some of the buttons that save settings changes, or delete account etc.

ok. I will give it a go and report back. By the way i am running NoScript 2.6.6 and I also have AVG installed. I guess these don't spot rogue extensions .... I will report back shortly ....

As a quick test, create a new Firefox profile. A new profile will inherit the plugins already installed on your system, such as Flash, but otherwise will look like a new install. Here's how.

Close Firefox and start up in the Profile Manager as described in this aticle: Use the Profile Manager to create and remove Firefox profiles. Any time you want to switch profiles, close Firefox and return to this dialog. I recommend using the default location suggested, and not deleting anything without making backups first.

If Facebook works normally in the new profile, you most likely have a rogue extension or userscript in your regular profile. These articles could help with those:

• Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems
