Alright, this is officially broken. I'll release a fix if I find the time to do so. In the meantime, you can still use it by clicking the "Preview" button in the LaTeX dialog, then right-clicking on the preview image and selecting "Copy Image Location". Then close the LaTeX dialog, go to Insert -> Picture, then to "From the web (URL)", and paste the URL in the text field. It's annoying, I know.
