  <body>very much like the idea of this script but agree that it changes the web page too much.  in fact this script seems to have the same effect as unticking &quot;Allow pages to use their own colours&quot; on the colours window via tools/options/content in firefox. 

i'm interested in a script that softens the harshness of so many websites with white backgrounds (like many others i get migraines and have vision problems).  so i'd be very interested in changing only the white background areas to ,say, grey, and leaving the rest of the website unchanged.</body>
