It's not &quot;covering up mistakes&quot;. Sometimes, I release a version of a script, but then make a quick style / feature addition to the &lt;em&gt;same version&lt;/em&gt; instead of releasing it as a brand new version. When someone looks at the &lt;strong&gt;diff&lt;/strong&gt;, they won't see all the new additions from the old version.</body>
