I don't know how Customize Google works so I don't know which is the case.
For starters, make sure that when you right-click on the GM icon on a google search
page that you can see the googlePrivacy script loaded.
If it's not then there is something wrong with the URL matching strings.
Otherwise, it is a conflict and I'll have to take a look at the Customize Google source
