It shouldn't, that was the first thing that this was supposed to get rid of. It just kills the Google JavaScript objects so that they can't be used to change the HREFs for the links. Can you reproduce it? Try typing javascript:alert(google) into the URL bar while at the google search page. If it shows anything other than "null" or a blank alert box then something is wrong.
