organize script by numbers of installs
|
|
When I search the scrips i normally see wich are the ones that have more installs.. they are the most usefulls.. why dont organice them that way? |

I completely agree! Being new to the site I'm having a difficult time finding my way through scripts other than just the one giant list. |

Yeah, when I first saw this site... I was a little turned off by the way things were organized... If you don't know exactly what you're searching for, it's hard to find things. I would suggest they create Sort By options, like popularity/installs/date/rating that sort of thing.
Right now, all we can do is scroll the front page for recently added, or search (and we have to have a good idea what we are looking for)...
This site provides very little ability to just "browse"... which is how I find stuff that might be interesting... I don't just search for things, I look through things based on categories and see if maybe Something I didn't know about, might exist or be interesting to me. I would really hope UserScripts can add somethings like this soon... =/ |

I'd like to see this too, as well as the logical extension: statistics on the most popular scripts and authors. Might be interesting. I know I'm nowhere near #1 in either list, but it'd still be cool. |

Heh, there are greasemonkey scripts that do these things... |

Search for "User Scripts Search Sorting" |

"user scripts search sorting" is great, but what if I don't have anything specific in mind and just want to browse? I for one have no idea what's out there and my first instinct is to see what's most popular/most downloaded (and this most certainly is common behavior) - instead I have to wade through 308 pages to see what's available? not very user-friendly :) |

im also new to this site and i was looking for some sorting by options. i mean dont get me wrong the site is great by some sorting options would be excellent. |
