I'm having a problem with scripts that are supposed to be in the "user script commands..." part of the greasemonkey menu not being there.

The first time it happened i restarted firefox and that didn't work. I reinstalled the greasemonkey addon itself and restarted firefox and then it showed up.

But now it happened again, and this time, after reinstalling greasemonkey and restarting firefox the script still is not there.

Does anyone else have this happen? Does anyone know what i can do about it?

Thanks.

Look into your firefox's profile path for the grease monkey scripts directory, inside it you should find all the installed scripts, if any has been installed. It should be something looking like this one:
c:\Users\{your user name}\appdata\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\gh2f2fwt.default\gm_scripts\....

The scripts are there, and they are in my greasemonkey menu.

The problem i'm having is that some of them are supposed to have options in the "User Scripts Commands" submenu of the greasemonkey menu, but they are not showing up there.

I now have a couple scripts that are supposed to be there but aren't. I only have one that is there and it is an older script, both of the ones that are missing are more recently downloaded.

I have tried restarting firefox, reinstalling the scripts, reinstalling greasemonkey itself, rebooting my computer. Those things (well one or more of those things) worked when the older script was not showing up there, but they has not worked this time.

Are you looking in the commands menu whilst you're on a page that the script runs on? The menu items will only appear if the script is running.

I'm having the same problem with a facebook script for packrat. The person who created the script tells me the problem is in grease monkey. Any help?
