Todo-list in Gmail
|
|
I often have the need to make small todo-lists of the mail I have to write over the course of a day. I make these lists in whatever app in the morning and tend to foregt about where I wrote it and such. I would like to have a small expandable frame on the right hand side that I could fold/unfold and in it type some text that gets saved (either at server or as a draft of whatever). Even slicker would be checkboxes, but not necessary. How hard is this to script or is anyone else on to it? (Ive never touched Greasemonkey until today when I realized that GM might to the trick for me. |

Doesn't sound like a job for Greasemonkey, really. A Firefox extension or an actual application would be better suited for the task. I've been wanting an extension like that, too. I currently use the search field for small notes. :) Let me know if you find one. |

Maybe I misunderstand, but this seems like a perfect task for Greasemonkey. Here is a script that gives you a todo in Google Calendar, maybe it's easy to modify for gmail? |

I believe that it would be very easily modified for gMail!! I suggest someone try it! I'm actually going to try the pages that it effects, and maybe it already works with gMail! :D Haha.. Nope. It doesn't work already, but I'm sure it could!! |

I found the extension http://quicknote.mozdev.org/ which seems to meet your needs to some extent. |

That's not amazingly amazing. I think it would be awesome to DUPLICATE the Gcal one for Gmail. |

maybe someone could figure out how to integrate http://todoist.com into Google? I can't imagine it'd be very hard. |
