Automatic search and replace in URL
|

Hi everybody I am a ardent user of Babylon Translator (www.babylon.com) and Google (www.google.com). Web searches initiated from the Babylon software used to result in a Google search (like they should) but recently this was changed. Web searches now result in a search on their own (Google powered) search site. I don't like that. As I don't think Babylon will change this behavior back to how it used to be, I'm calling you guys to the rescue. I've seen many amazing scripts around here so I guess this won't give you any headaches at all... Here's what I need: A script that automagically converts a loaded url that starts with: http://search.babylon.com/search.php?q= into an url that starts with: http://www.google.com/search?q= So basically just a search and replace. BTW: This could be more useful if it'd be universal, I mean like customizable... Thanx alot in advance... ries |

Here's, in my humble opinion, a much more universal solution - Try This Search On. |

Excellent! That's exactly what I needed, thank you very much Jeremy! (and sorry for my late reply, I was cut off the internet (still am but writing this at a friend of mine) so I didn't have a chance to thank you) |
