There's already a remove Google search box from personalised homepage script, and there's a make the top bar scroll script.

I'd like to remove all the blurb at the top of the search page and start with results from the top. I'm running Google two column row-wise and Google compact (which also neatens up row-wise "overhangs"), now the only thing slowing me down is that darned top-bar.

have you tried doing it in platypus?
