I would really like to figure out a way to stop that stupid autorefresh thing in the background. I have the NoScript extension installed in my Firefox, but that isn't helpful for this problem because it blocks all scripts, and not just this particular one.

It becomes most bothersome when I'm trying to view their photo albums (sample here: http://www.foxnews.com/photoessay/0,4644,1587,0...). It tries to auto-refresh (at least that's what I'm assuming it's doing) and jumps me back to the beginning. UGH! I get very annoyed.

If it matters, I'm running Firefox 2.0.0.3 on Windows XP. Thanks to anyone who is willing to give it a go! :)

No auto-refresh http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/4097 works for me.

Odd, for me, it does refresh but doesnt jump back to the beginning, but the refresh is annoying, and could be quite crippling if your on Dial-up.. Wtf Foxnews? Haha
