i need, and i think others too, a script, which modifies a youtube url. I you add at the end of youtube url &fmt=18 you will get better video and audio quality.

but there is a little problem. not with the script, but with youtube. some videos are not available in higher quality. so i have to disable greasemonkey for these videos, go back and load the site again.

i dont know, wich solution is the best. maybe a link to lower quality in the near of the video window.

Is there any way to grab the video from the high-res page and replace it with the one on the low res page? This way, there wouldn't be a flicker of the page.
