Would it be possible to use GM to set a default volume for media played via the QuickTime Plugin ?

It can be annoyingly loud at times and a pain constantly having to reset to the desired level.

I see from Embedding a Webcast Into a Web Page that the volume is set by the embed script.

Well. I dove into this challenge with full confidence of my abilities, but it seems that other forces had different ideas. Apparently, all embeds and objects appear to be blocking script access to their DOM node. This is what I managed to come up with, and I made a test page for the script. But it doesn't seem like it is possible, even with AllowScriptAccess set to "always", it doesn't seem to work...

Does anybody know of a way around this?
