I often drag links into my sidebar bookmarks. And check them later. I'm using a global script to indicate if links are visited. Obviously if I bookmark a link - it isn't marked as visited.

Is it possible for a script to mark a link as visited without actually opening a tab? ctrl-mouse-click or alt-mouse-click? Or a button next to the link?

Can a script make a item in the context menu? Or is that only for add-ons?

There isn't an add-on or script for this is there? I checked - I didn't find anything.
