I just added the Consensus field (version 2.1.4), and I agree... it does add something to the IMDB page to have it on there.

Should this work with Opera v10?, replied by gehav

Ok, thanks for the quick reply! Another question (more a feature request): would it be possible to add RT's "Consensus" field to your script? This is one of the reasons I visit RT in addition to imdb. Would be great!

InterClaw,

I was stumped for a little bit, but I figured out that the div just needed a little bit of padding, and there we go. Fixed in new version 2.1.3 released today.

I honestly don't know if I'm using some Firefox-only hack -- I've never developed specifically for Opera, so I don't know why it wouldn't be working there. It wouldn't surprise me if it's the script's problem, not yours.

Should this work with Opera v10?, replied by gehav

See topic. It doesn't work for me and I wanted to know if it's my mistake or Opera's :-)

The text "Rotten Tomatoes: checking" appears and I see the rotating icon I also see in Firefox but unfortunately this status lasts indefinitely...

Is there maybe a solution?

It seems they've changed the design on imdb.com again. The top and bottom border of the box are covered with white (FF 3.5). Could you have a look at it? :)

Same problem is occurring with me. Also sometimes the rotten info shown on imdb for certain movies are not correct. But this happens rarely.

Hope you resolve the NaN issue as soon as possible. This is great script.

Hi,

Great script, but now it seems like the number of reviews is broken. Suddenly (like a month ago) I started getting just "NaN" instead of the number of reviews. Dunno if this is due to a change on IMDb or RT though.

Hope you can have a look at this. Thanks! :]

suggestion - add number of reviews, replied by ekbworldwide

Example

Islander (2006)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0819723/

Islander - 88% at rottentomatoes.com
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/10007718-islander/

How about if the script showed something like this:

88% Fresh (Average Rating: 7/10) Reviews: 8 = 7 + 1 More

Islander seems promising, but it only has 8 reviews.

Personally - I don't pay attention to RT unless there are at least 10 reviews - if not 15.

Tekjock,

I don't see any errors on my install, so I don't think it's an issue with IMDB or Oracle of Bacon changing something.

What exactly is happening in your page? Nothing? Do the red "Checking" messages show up, but not the actual center numbers?

I have a suggestion request:
Could you provide the average rating from RT next to the tomatometer rating? eg: 7.9/10

If you don't want it there by default, perhaps having it as an option?

Cheers.

Nascent,

The only thing this script has to do with the "User Rating" or "MOVIEmeter" is that it adds another line before them. That might be screwing up some custom CSS in the other script, but there's nothing I can do about it here.
