Ah a shame. I looooved being able to tag to delicious straight from reader (in addition to "toread", i use "towatch" "tolisten" "toblog" etc. for different items). Yours was the only that could do that

I don't use delicious any more. I shift my reading list to "Read It Later".

Sadly, I don't think this script works anymore. "User Script Commands" is grayed out on the reader page.

Tested on WinXP, FF 3.0.5.

Something weird happened. The "Save to Delicious" link was always referring to the previous article. It stopped, but since I took the time to register for userscripts to comment on this I just went ahead with it =)

I'm working on a keyboard shortcut.
I'm thinking about "d" if only one star button is available or "d-1", "d-2" ... "d-N" when available N star button.

What do you think about ?

I am using Firefox 3.5b. The script does not prompt me for my username and password for Del.icio.us when I start up Google Reader. So of course the script does not work for me as is, but I have a work around. I open up another tab and go to https://api.del.icio.us/v1/posts/add? . What that does, it forces me to login to call that web service. Now for the rest of my session, I can use this script to post to Del.icio.us from Google Reader.

Is there a fix for this?

Google Reader has changed to add more functionalities but this break my script, I'm working to solve this problem.

Hi... like the script and I agree with Levi about adding some buttons. I'd also like to see a keyboard shortcut. If I'm flagging an article for reading later, I don't want to have to scroll to the bottom to click the delicious star.

Thanks for the script. What I would love to see is the ability to post to a few different tags in delicious. Ultimately it would be great to configure these, but at least provide some default ones in addition to toRead. So for example, how about a version with two buttons and another with threee? The buttons could post to delicious with "toRead," "toBlog," and "toShare" or something similar? I just find it useful to have a way to tag things and unfortunately Google Reader only lets me EASILY tag things in one dimension - with the star. If I want to tag via other dimensions (the tags, I have to click on the tag button and start writing out each tag, which slows things down enormously when trying to sort through dozens of entries!

I get a previous script and strongly clean to get the result I'm looking for.
Sadly I don't remember the scritp original name so if you are the writter of the original script let me know ;-)
