After that if would also help if you installed Tamper Data and went to Tools -> Tamper Data and then block the application request on Facebook. Then go to the Tamper Data window and find that POST request to http://www.facebook.com/ajax/block_user_request... and send me the post data. I understand if I'm asking too much of you.

First and foremost, thank you for making such a script.
I'm using and I would highly recommend this script.
Some videos I add to my blog, getting Video URL is very easy to take.
right click "Download Video" and copy the URL can also receive this beautiful.
But when it comes to taking on difficult thumbnail (Thumb_url).
Right-click a blank area and then view the source code and then find thumb_url and then copy encoded thumb url and then decode thumb_url ,and finally get thumbnail url...
Very time-consuming to do this every time.

Something like this can be added?

* Convert Video

I never got anything in the chart bar, it is only in the home page requests section.

I haven't experienced this yet, but I have very few friends so I might never. Where is it happening? Is it appearing on the chat bar or in the actual requests area on the home page?

Yupp, forget the request - or rather change it. I found out what was the troublemaker: The author replaced the complete body.innerHTML - ouch. Rewrote that code, now it has only half as much lines - and works fine, no longer hindering your script. The code may still be not optimal, though. If you like to integrate this functionality (adding the number of scripts written to the "Scriptwright" links innerHTML), I happily provide you with the code - just let me know

Hi sizzle,

looks like your script partially refuses to work when the "Extended scriptwright links" script (see http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/47281) is active: In that case, neither the "Quote" links, nor the preview is working. I couldn't quite figure out why (though I found and fixed some bug in that other script, see comments there). Could you have a look into that? If it's too hard to figure out (as far as I can tell, it only changes "Scriptwright" to "Scriptwright (x)" with "x" being the numbers of scripts written by that user), I wouldn't mind if you include that scripts feature in yours, so the other script wouldn't be needed anymore and thus could not conflict The author seems not really to care, as there was no response from him/her ever (though I waited for half a year now).

P.S.: Since I just saw the line in your code GM_log("Selection quoting failed due to a bug in Firefox 3.5.x"); for some other matter: Yepp, this is the same FF version here. So I will crosscheck at home with my other machine running FF3.0, just to make sure...

Is going to be a bit of a wait before I get time to work on this. I just got sick and have a bunch of other things to get done. Let me know if it starts freezing Facebook again, but I'll need a few days to re-enable broken features.

Definitely. And I also need to update the app story removing code. I've been seeing a few of those ugly things on profiles.

Yep, I noticed. It happened this afternoon. I'm going to be gone tonight, but I'll take a look at it tomorrow and hopefully put out a complete fix very soon(its most likely freezing because Facebook changed classnames, which has froze Firefox in the past). For now I did some quick debugging and commented-out code I couldn't get to run without freezing Firefox. Reinstall the script and at least for now you can run my script without freezing Firefox.

You don't really understand Greasemonkey or Facebook. Greasemonkey only runs my code on a full page refresh, therefore there is only one style element added. I've even checked this myself just to make sure. Load a page in Facebook and click on a link. Then use select all and right-click View Selection Source and you will see only one style element in the head. You should have checked this yourself before accusing my script of having problems. I've been writing scripts for Facebook for over two years and already have my shit figured out.

This script doesn't use listeners or any of that memory-intensive crap. It just inserts a little CSS into the page.

You don't need to wait for the page to load. Greasemonkey already executes on DOMContentLoaded, which occurs before the page loads. You also omitted the anonymous function which throws cross-browser compatibility out the window.

Although it's not absolutely necessary, it's probably best that it only runs on the top iframe, so I added a check for that.

I've edited your code to make it a lot more compliant with Greasemonkey conventions. (Changed element.type= to element.setAttribute() among other things.)

I've also removed the recursion problem you had. Your script added the style into the head tag every time a page loads, including frames. This caused a massive memory problems as every new page that you viewed added up to 12 new blocks of code depending on how many iframes there were. Only a full page refresh (F5) would release the lines.

The code now only runs on the top most window and only if the style has not been appended to the page.

I have used this script in one of my own Facebook mods (ApacheFB) but it's still in Alpha testing phase atm and still heavily under construction. I've added you in the dedications. If you run with this update, it would be nice if you could do the same. :)
