Alan i did everything it said to do and nothing on my school one i made works. It is the Facebook VSU Colors one. If u could help me out it would be great.

Google keeps changing the name of the div containing the footer. I have corrected the script, for now, but Google may change it again.

Good idea, Tam Do, that shouldn't be too hard but I think it will have to be a separate script.

I added the following if statement to the script to avoid a javascript error on the google home page:
if (document.getElementById("footer") != null)
{
document.getElementById("footer").style.display = 'none';
}

Thanks Alan K, this is really useful! If you don't mind, I have a suggestion: you should make it work for wall posts and facebook searches as well, for the same reasons as discussion posts. A lot of the time, I find myself having page through many pages of wall posts/search results.

Google now also has a div with the id of "footer_promos"

Thus, add this line to the script:
document.getElementById("footer_promos").style.display = 'none';
