Could be because of the latest style changes by GMail or something, but script seems to load only some of the times GMail is loaded.
Pity, since this script is essential for my 7" (800x480 res) EeePC.

Ruiz, really does free up quite a bit of space - I was surprised =) very nice! and keyboard shortcuts would be a great add-on for show/hide

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately the message area isn't maximized when the navlinks and/or ads are hidden. Running FF3/GM 0.8.20080609.0.

Also, I wonder if you could add customizable keyboard shortcuts to show/hide as Yooskeh did with the Calendar version.

Is there an option to hide the right and the left buttons, and disable their functionality?
meaning, to stay only with the up-button?
(the right button breaks other script that I'm using, instead of a full screen view, I see a blank right column on the right side on every message)

hi there, great script!

quick question, could you tell me what values to edit if i wanted to change how much of the header i wanted to be hidden?

for example, if i wanted just a little less of the header to be hidden when toggled off, so that some "white" space shows.

New Version Available... Fixes for new GMail update. Unfortunately, The Gmail update did break the script:(

perhaps, as similar to the google calendar version of this script, implementing shortcut keys to toggle the hide/show functions could serve as a way around the arrow functions when google's updates break the script. =)

i have noticed that this script is no longer functioning properly after around the 24th of january. the graphical "toggle" arrows no longer appear on the screen.

it would be great to see an update!

I just updated the script. GMail apparently changed their layout, which caused a few problems for the script. Should be good now.

doesnt see, to work for me. i am also running it along with gmail air skin but even after disabling that it doesnto seem to work.

The script works great, but the one problem I've run into is that it slows down scrolling up and down. Not sure if it's just my computer.

I like it alot. Just, when i have my google sponsored links remover script, the arrow on the right doesn't do any good.
