Sorry for late answer, I have not seen your message.
I have not tested this, but I think your problem should be solved by altering a single variable in the source code. If you just open up the script in an text editor (like Notepad), it is well documented in the source code how to fix it.

The share button ceases to work with this script enabled. Any chance for a fix?

I'm sorry to hear. I currently use usoCheckup, an updater approved by most folks, at least in comparison to others.

I used another updater earlier though, which might be the problem. It might still be lying underneath, interfering with usoCheckup.

Solution: I'd check if I had the latest version of Greasemonkey (as it has many bug fixes, among them some necessary for updating userscripts properly), and if that not worked, uninstall the script, and after restarting Firefox, reinstall it.

If the problem persists, please notify me, and I'll try my best to fix it :)

But I have 1.04 installed....
