It's quite random for me. I have the 's-word' blocked, but it doesn't do it every time.

Here's an example from a forum I post at (and if you have a filter on that works properly, you may not see this as I am):

"I actually enjoy the shoutbox.. untill that [f'er] started posting links to porn and [poo] in there, and i happen to click on it while using the library computer, which has some auto-porn site tracking shit"

and later...

"and also using a bunch of our names and writing random shit... (if ya look.. i didnt write that [poo] in there...)"

So really, I don't see the point in using this script if it's only going to work half the time. My pages are loading a bit slower as well.

It works well except for the title of the page (in the browser window/tab) where it doesn't replace the profanity until after the page has finished loading.

Well YouTube uses AJAX to dynamically pull up the other pages other than the ones that load when you first load the page.

The script would have to run on each click or get of new sections using AJAX for this to work.

Great script though.

This one's is so much better than the last one I used.
It doesn't load the page first and then blocks the profane words after, so that for a split second you can still see the profnity on a reload. And you can use any replacement for every word and it looks at capital letters and special characters.
It doesn't work when browsing through youtube comments however.
