FYI, This doesn't work since gmail has added a 'New Version' of their gui.

Adding ID "#ip" will also hide the "Invite FOO to Gmail" link that appears at the bottom of message view. So:

document.getElementById('_nvi').sheet.insertRule('#ip, #nvi {display:none}', 0);

will do that. I think this may also hide the one that sometimes appears at the top after sending a message.
