The only problem I have with it is sometimes the screen is too short for the picture, so I can't see the caption or bottom bar if the center preview is greater than something like 550 pixels tall. The little "X" in the bottom left corner is simply intended to hide the message that is displayed next to it, the one that says "Click anywhere on the picture to close this window".
