This script isn't working for me anymore :/

I'm running Firefox 3.0.3 on Windows Vista.

Is this happening to anyone else?

let me learn some javascript first, then some json (??), then I will try to figure out how to convert your script (just sarcastic) I hope some programmer take this script into opera (and maybe others)...

well, too bad Opera doesn't support some standard extension to JS that Firefox do ;)

anyway, things has changed since I developed this script and now Flickr can be accessed with a json interface that would be compatible with Opera. You can try to convert the script for this. Let me know if you do it.

too bad it doesn't work with opera :( (some userscripts do work with opera...)

So, playing arround (almost the same as with comment refer)

I get this (twice):

Syntax error /opt/userscript/flickr_exif_info.user.js: line 170 of User JS script :
Expected identifier
ex = rsp..exif.(@label == finds[i]);
-----------------------------------^

a userscript cannot do that. You will have to strip the EXIF from your photo before upload, that's the simplest way. Just use something like exiftool for example.

Now.. if we can only get someone to come up with a script that lets us choose which exif data shows on flickr (on our own photos) and which fields are hidden.. (OR) which lets us select which photo we've uploaded will have exif data available, and those that won't..

Excellent!
I couldn't figure out how to configure it until I came across your instructions.

Thank you!

dasar, the script only works for pictures with EXIF data available on flickr. So if there is no "more properties" link, then the script won't show anything as no data is available.

Jón Ragnarsson, that would be very difficult with just Greasemonkey as you would need to process the image file (for Flickr, it's easier as they already did that for us).

Have a look at the FxiF extension for firefox:
