This is actually due to twitter search. Some tweets clear out of search.twitter.com after two weeks or so. Since this script uses the standard twitter search, they will disappear after the two week limit. To verify, do a search for "to:username" on search.twitter.com.

It's worked great up until yesterday, and suddenly only the very latest reply shows up in the sidebar. Before yesterday, a handful of the latest replies was showing.

Edit: this is on my home page only. On others' pages, all their latest replies are showing up.

The script has been updated to ignore the login page without adding the explicit excluded page section. Thanks for the report!

'@login' spam exploit, replied by azurelunatic

A number of "online marketing gurus" have started using "@login" in their tweets, which exploits this script and shows them as replies on http://twitter.com/login.

To defeat this, add http*//twitter.com/login to the excluded pages:

Tools > Greasemonkey > Manage User Scripts
Pick Twitter Sidebar Replies
Click the 'Add' button for the Excluded Pages section
Enter http*//twitter.com/login
OK
close

Script was awesome until Twitter updated their homepage with the trending topics and ability to hide the people you're following. Now the script doesn't work at all. Dang.

the else if after it needs to be fixed as well, also for all of those you should select the profile name like GM_TUR.un = document.getElementById("me_name").innerHTML.replace(/^\s+|\s+$/g,"");

nice script btw man!

Sorry for the hiatus..., replied by SourNote

TSR has been updated! Fixed the bug with getting the user name on the home screen. Also works on https pages. Twitter style fuzzy time stamps have also been added. Not that I anticipate the script being updated terribly often, but I've put Jarett's script updater on TSR.

I've been away from updating my scripts for a while. Sorry about that. There are a few changes I need to make to TSR. This weekend is essentially free for me (relief!), so I'll be working on getting this updated, make a few improvements and what-not.

i changed the search query to "http://search.twitter.com/search.json?q=%40" which will return all tweets that has @user anywhere in the tweet. And it worked fine till today. but from today i am not seeing any of those twitter sidebar replies. not even the word replies appears there. am not sure if the twitter page elements are changed .. if you could check this and let me know it would be great.
thanks.
